The client challenge

We were approached to assist in the validation, commercialisation, route to market strategy development and test market launch of a new plant-based dip, free from wheat, dairy, nuts, soy, eggs, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, that is vegan, gluten-free, paleo-friendly and non-GMO. (A new product area considerably outside their existing, well established and associated area of focus).

Our solution

We completed the pre-launch validation, business readiness planning and managed the entire launch including product mix, marketing, branding, merchandising, product and market logistics, distribution, independent outlet contracting and client budget as a standalone outsourced basis.

The results exceeded our client’s expectations — from co-manufacture to sales in market within three months, unit sales at over three times the anticipated target and take up at over 40 outlets, with a further 1000 planned.
